I went to the small city far away from village to buy some books this morning. What I saw there surprised me very much. There is a river in the city. The water in it is dark and smells terrible. It is polluted with chemical waste from factories. There are many small factories along the river. The worst one is the paper factory . It pours waste water into the river day and night. 如何在成考中写一篇英语作文才能获得高分

1.长句和短句

文章开头可以用先长后短的句子，在文章正文中，先用一个短句解释一下主要意思，然后在解释几个要点的时候，采用先短后长的句组形式，测试结束时，一般采用一长一短，这样的构图一定会吸引你的眼球。

2.短语第一

写作时多使用短语，首先，使用短语会给文章增添亮点，如果老师在文章中发现一些精彩的短语，那么你的文章一定会得到高分。其次，可以利用短语来凑字数，例如I can not bear it可以用短语代替I can not put up with it;I want it可以表述为：I am lookingforward to it等待。这样字数就明显增加了，更准确的表达。

3.比虚拟更真实

多一些真实，少一些虚幻，就是多写一些实际的东西，停止说话。这就要求我们必须使用更加实质性的词语，较少使用虚词。虚词是指那些比较大的词。例如，当我们说“美好时光”时，不应该说nice如此空洞的话，应该使用类似的东西generous，humorous，interesting，smart，gentle，warm-hearted，hospital像这样的图像词。
